Youth

The Youth Committee assists with the planning development and staffing of Junior and Senior High events.

 

The youth of St. Matthew's participated in service, fellowship and fundraising activities throughout the year.  The Youth Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month to plan events.  The Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings (about twice a month) for food, fellowship, Bible study, games and to plan future events.  The Youth Group also meets for other fellowship events and service projects throughout each month and throughout the year.

 

Some of the Fellowship and fun activities included:  A High School lock-in and a Middle School lock-in, events with Highlands United Presbyterian church, Zoo Clean-up project, and Universal's "Rock the Universe".  The youth hosted a Fall Dance for the youth and their friends.
