Pray that we will listen carefully to God and be receptive to the ways God speaks to us each day, especially when we least expect it or are slow to recognize God’s voice amid the noise and competing voices in the world.

Gracious and holy God, give us diligence to seek you, wisdom to perceive you, and patience to wait for you. Grant us, O God, a mind to mediate on you; eyes to behold you; ears to listen for your word; a heart to love you; and a life that proclaims you; through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord. Amen.
