Pray for our new U.S. president, vice president and members of Congress, that they will find strength, support and unity for their difficult work of serving a diverse nation. Ask the Spirit to help us guide, shape and embolden our culture and nation so that we practice justice, care for our neighbors in need, strive for truth and support our global neighbors.

Heavenly Father, we pray for our nation and its leaders. Give [them] wisdom that they may be able to do things beyond their understanding. Help them to choose the right path when they make decisions on behalf of this nation. Give the President grace and courage to make sound decisions that align with your will for this nation. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
